SURESH GOYAL

Former Founder & Promoter, Himalayan Food Park
Senior Chartered Accountant

For over a decade, Suresh Goyal, a respected Chartered Accountant, struggled with gastric problems caused by lactose intolerance. Despite his love for dairy, every glass of milk was a reminder of his discomfort. Living in Delhi, he witnessed the harsh realities of pollution and its health impacts, further intensifying his concerns. His love for cows and distress over their conditions in dairy farms added to his resolve. The idea for 1.5 Degree emerged from his desire to enjoy dairy without discomfort or guilt, driving him to create a range of plant-based dairy products that are tasty, healthy, and environmentally responsible

Vivek Saxena

Director

His extensive experience with dairy companies like Amul had made him a dairy lover, yet the industry’s darker sides deeply troubled him. Fed up with these practices and driven by his love for pure, unadulterated milk, Vivek joined the 1.5 Degree mission. He saw it as a chance to revolutionise the industry, combining his technical expertise with a desire to offer healthier, ethically produced dairy alternatives. Vivek’s journey with 1.5 Degree is not just professional; it’s a personal crusade for better, more humane dairy production

VEDANSH GOYAL

CA final student and holder of a B.Com (Hons) degree from DCAC, DU

This advice conflicted with their deep-rooted love for dairy, a staple in their diet. Despite trying various alternatives, they desired something different from the taste and affordability they wanted. The brothers’ continued discomfort and dissatisfaction with existing products ignited a passion in Vedansh. His academic pursuits in commerce complemented this drive, leading him to co-found 1.5 Degree. ANAGH GOYAL

Director

Anagh’s journey with 1.5 Degree began alongside his brother, Vedansh. The advice to eliminate dairy from their diet for health reasons left both brothers feeling a significant void. Anagh, a tech-savvy individual, saw this as more than a dietary change; it was a challenge that needed a solution. His technical expertise from his studies in computer science at BITS Pilani became a cornerstone in developing a product that could bring back the joy of dairy without health issues. His dedication to technology and love for dairy converged, fueling his drive to innovate in the plant-based dairy space with 1.5 Degrees.
